Our Board of Directors play
a vital role in the operations of Memory JAR. Far from being a mere technicality,
they provide Memory JAR with leadership, community outreach, financial guidance
and many other forms of expertise. You may write to them at

Chairman: Michael Doting
Mike’s involvement with Memory JAR comes as a result of his relationship with
James and his desire to help build a tribute to his very special nephew. Mike
recently helped found a non-profit corporation and served on its board as Treasurer.
He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from the University of California
at Irvine and is currently a Vice President at First American Title, where he has
worked for 18 years. Mike and his wife, Nancy, have two daughters, Jenna &
Kira, and reside in Tustin, California.

Vice Chairman: Clay Rodrigues
Clay is the father of James and works to better the world in his son’s honor.
He is the CEO and Chairman of Diversified Capital Funding in Northern California.
He also co-founded Valley Community Bank in 1988. He belongs to many business
associations and works with many non-profits including Valley Christian School,
Camp Hope and Make A Wish Foundation. Clay is the proud father of James, Robert,
Carly and Chase and resides in Pleasanton, California.

Treasurer: Mitch Wilson
Mitch became aware of Memory JAR as a result of his business association with James’
uncle, Mike Doting. He is a Vice President and CFO of First American SMS. Mitch
also serves on the Board of Pastoral Training of Asia, a non-profit organization
providing training, seminars and study resources to indigenous pastors in the Philippines
and other Asian countries. Mitch received his Bachelors of Science degree in accounting
from California State University Fullerton and a Masters of Business Administration
form the University of California Irvine. Mitch and his wife Susan have four children
and reside in Rancho Santa Margarita, California.

Secretary: Jody Brennan
A friend of James’ family, Jody became involved with Memory JAR in 2006. She has
a Bachelor of Science degree from California Polytechnic University in San Luis
Obispo and has worked a consultant and fundraiser for non-profit agencies and on
political issues for the past 14 years. Jody is very active in many community projects
for Tustin schools and local sports. She is a native Californian and resides in
Tustin with her two daughters, Jocelyn and Paige.

Committee Chair: Robert Rodrigues
Brother to James, Robert is an original founder of Memory JAR. He currently
maintains the Deans list while attending the University of Arizona majoring in business
with an emphasis on Entrepreneurship. He recently obtained his real estate
license and works in mortgage banking in between semesters. Additionally,
Robert works with the Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Tucson and partakes in many charitable
and community functions on campus.

Board Member: Lisa Rollins
Lisa became involved with Memory JAR as a result of her volunteer experience and
friendship with founder Karen. Following graduation from Whittier College
with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration, Lisa worked as an Information
Technology Analyst at Fluor Corporation for five years. Her non-profit background
includes an internship with the renowned J. Paul Getty Trust and leadership positions
with adult soccer organizations. Lisa currently works for the Los Angeles
Galaxy of Major League Soccer coordinating sales, customer service and fan development
programs.

Board Member: Greg Rodrigues
As a member of the Rodrigues family, Greg was involved with the early stages of
Memory JAR. In April 2004, Greg’s father, Jess A. Rodrigues, died of
lung cancer, giving Greg a special perspective on the grieving process. Greg
is a founder of various companies and served as a board member for many other non-profit
organizations. He has an extensive background in banking, real estate and
manufacturing. Greg received his Bachelors of Science degree from Cal Poly, San
Luis Obispo and a Masters of Business Administration from Harvard Business School.
Greg currently resides in San Francisco.
