On July 8, 2003, the world lost a beautiful soul - James Anthony Rodrigues, who was killed in an automobile accident at age 19. His parents, Clay and Karen, brother Robert, and all his friends and family found comfort in the wake of his passing by celebrating and memorializing his life.

To celebrate James’ life and to help others who have lost loved ones, his parents and younger brother founded Memory JAR, a non-profit organization dedicated to helping to ease the pain of loss. We provide practical suggestions and personalized memorial ideas to preserve your loved ones’ memories.

James lives on in our hearts, and it is our hope that Memory JAR brings as much solace to other grieving families as it has for us.
